Mar. 19th, 2012 07:52 pmGot my replacement phone today. My old one was shutting down unexpectedly (once even while plugged in) due to a bad battery. I loved my old phone, a Samsung Flight. It was perfect, except for the unexpectedly shutting down thing. I had insurance on it, so it was easily replaced. And since they don't make the Samsung Flight anymore, they sent me a Samsung Flight II.
How is this an improvement? It's like a huge step back. For one, the keyboard is sideways so I have to hold the phone like that, which I hate. Another is the widget. What idiot thought widgets belonged on a phone? I hate them on computers and I hate them even more on phones.
Also, it seems kind of jerky when I switch screens. And I have to touch the screen above where I want to go if I don't want to end up in the program directly below it.
And I downloaded opera mini. Because mobile web and the browser can't view websites I like correctly. It's not working. For one, it has this annoying onscreen keyboard thing with "..." "ok" "1234" that I can't get rid of. It has these arrow buttons that just get in the way. I never had this problem with my beloved Samsung Flight.
Creator of Samsung Flight II, did you suffer a blow to the head before you created this piece of crap?

Mar. 19th, 2012 02:32 pmToday is my first day of college. Already I've made a mistake. I forgot to check the discussion boards the day before class and only checked the materials page. And I didn't think to read over everything in the days before class.
And now I'm trying to figure out what room would be the best to work in. Grandma's not usually home so I figured the living room would be best as it's the most comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. But she's home, on my first day of class, and watching tv. In the living room. While sleeping. And if I mute the tv, she'll wake up and unmute it. And I'll feel guilty for some reason.
My room isn't very good to sit in for long periods, because it's tiny and I don't have a chair or desk, so the only place to sit is the bed. Which hurts my back if I sit there for too long. But it's looking like I'll be in there from now on. Unless I use the guestroom. I'll have to go in there and move things around. Maybe there.
I usually prefer to be in the living room, because grandma often makes me feel guilty for 'hiding'.
But, I'm probably blowing everything out of porportion, because I'm panicking because it's my first day of college.

Mar. 1st, 2012 11:02 pmI don't think I like dating. Dating in general, I mean. Every time I agree to go somewhere, I feel so nervous I get nauseaus and feel like crying. Then I'm on the date and everthing is kind of ok. Then, repeat because I have trouble saying no. Saying no always makes me feel guilty.
I think dating is going to give me an ulcer. I don't like it.

I hate time zones
Feb. 10th, 2012 04:56 pmI'm expecting an important call, but I also had plans to go out to dinner with friends. And the person calling me can never remember if I'm an hour ahead or an hour behind. Looks like they got it wrong again, because they should have called an hour ago.
I'm supposed to leave in a few minutes, at 5, to meet my friends. And still no call. This wouldn't be a problem, if I didn't need to be at a computer and online during the call.
Looks like I'm going to have to stay home tonight.

[FIC] Round The World
Jan. 2nd, 2012 04:10 pmHere's the fic I wrote for the Spamano gift exchange! I plan on continuing the fic, and I want to rewrite part two (I just ran out of time, so I had to rush). And since I rushed, part two is mainly snapshots of life. And the title doesn't make sense. And it says rated R, but it's not. I just forgot to change it.
Title: Round the World
Author: kirin_saga
Recipient: karuka_ikashi
Character(s) or Pairing(s): Romano/Spain, Germany/Italy (implied)
Word Count: 15803
Rating: R, to be safe.
Warnings: Mpreg
Summary: Spain's sick.
Part 1
Part 2
Links will take you to the sparo-xchange LJ community. I'll post it to my own (dreamwidth) journal when I finish the real chapter 2 (which I need to get working on).
And, yes LJ Friends, I now have dreamwidth. Feel free to come on over.

Dec. 27th, 2011 10:18 amWell, I finally gotten around to getting an account here. Hopefully, I'll remember to use it, but since there's this handy crossposting option, that should hopefully not being a problem. *thinks* No wait, that would only help if it was Livejournal, not Dreamwidth, that I'd forget about.
Oh well, I'll get used to it.
Anyways, there's nothing here yet. Some time within the next few days, I'll post a fic index with links to all my fanfiction on LJ. Just links, since there are so many, but any new fics will actually be posted here.
So, hello everyone!
