I hate time zones

I'm expecting an important call, but I also had plans to go out to dinner with friends. And the person calling me can never remember if I'm an hour ahead or an hour behind. Looks like they got it wrong again, because they should have called an hour ago.

I'm supposed to leave in a few minutes, at 5, to meet my friends. And still no call. This wouldn't be a problem, if I didn't need to be at a computer and online during the call.

Looks like I'm going to have to stay home tonight.

I'm having the same issue right now - trying to organise an internet meet-up with some people 14 hours behind me. What we've got now is 11pm today (today here anyway...) their time which 3pm tomorrow my time, which means I'm going to be scrambling around to get home in time.
